From my mind to yours

Aze Alter has been making videos since he was six^[5]. He grew up drawn to science fiction series and to the worlds of films and games, and taught himself visual effects, After Effects and Unreal Engine; he got into animation to put his ideas on screen, and moved to AI filmmaking once Midjourney arrived^[5][4]. AI, DigiBC's Signals expo noted, let him revisit projects he had once thought impossible^[5]. He works from Vancouver, and signs everything the same way: "From my mind to yours"^[4][23].

He calls himself a writer and director who wants to bring viewers "strange sci-fi worldbuilding series & short films mixing reality with AI"^[29]. On X he styles his name Aze Λlter, with a Greek lambda for the A^[23]. His website also lists music videos made with Powfu, Travis Barker and Jaden Smith, which this page has not been able to confirm independently^[4].

BIOLANDS and the first worlds

His YouTube channel opened on 16 February 2022 with a nineteen-second piece called the beginning^[40]. The early uploads were world-building fragments: grassrooms in May 2022, now at almost 80,000 views, Titan Drones and a teaser for BIOLANDS, a future he kept returning to^[47][1]. A minute-long piece called observers passed 109,000 views in 2023^[48]. In July 2024 BIOLANDS: The City of Cascadia gave that world a three-minute portrait, and a trailer for BIOLANDS: The Voyage Files followed^[39][1].

Welcome to the Capital

On 29 August 2023 he released Capital of Conformity, the first film to carry the Red Rainbow name: "Welcome to the Capital! Where the pursuit of unending joy comes with hidden costs"^[10]. It now has more than 525,000 views, and DigiBC showed it, as Capitol of Conformity, at its Signals Creative Tech Expo in Vancouver^[10][5]. A repost of the film at the time credited Midjourney stills animated with Pika and Runway^[37].

Red Rainbow became a world rather than a film. Eyes for Sale, about Roger, "once a dreamer with grand ambitions", followed on 26 December 2023, with a fifteen-minute explainer three months later^[12][46]. Then came Eat the Bugs, Happy Anniversary!, A Perfect Society and Sharing is Caring, each two to four minutes long and each carrying the Red Rainbow name^{[50][49][51][38]}. In July 2024 How to Stay Healthy, an AI dystopian horror short, reached 966,000 views, still his second most watched film on YouTube^[11].

Between films the Capital keeps talking. Many of his 45 Shorts are in-world adverts and messages from its citizens: Sewing Spa Sale!, Safety PSA, Upgrade Today! Premium POLICE, Popper Pals Merch, and a run of messages from a character called Fernando, whose Date with Fernando is his most watched Short^[22][43]. Some of the merchandise is real, at the Red Rainbow store^[41].

The Age of Beyond

On 31 March 2025 he released Age of Beyond, three minutes and twenty-four seconds built on a single idea: "If humans & AI unite... we may reach the Age of Beyond"^[2]. It tours nine places, each introduced by a spaced-out title card, from Aero City in British Columbia to an energy base on Io and an O'Neill cylinder called Beyond-7, and ends on a newborn's face^[2]. He wrote, directed and edited it; Nyukyung co-produced, Scott Buckley wrote the music, and the credits list Luma Labs, Kling, Runway, ElevenLabs, MiniMax and Midjourney^[2].

The film spread well beyond his own accounts long before Musk found it. In its first week Linus Ekenstam posted it to 269,000 views on X and Massimo (@Rainmaker1973) to 58,000, and a Portuguese-language fan account added 31,000 more in July 2025^[52][53][54]. Aze's own Reddit posts took 1,931 upvotes in r/aivideo and 1,221 in r/midjourney^[55][56].

Pixelsham wrote it up the day after launch, Curious Refuge added it to its AI film gallery within two weeks, and AI Film History now keeps an entry on it^[9][7][8]. Then, on 8 November 2025, it screened at the 16th TAURON American Film Festival in Wroclaw, Poland, in a programme called US in Progress Open: AI and the Future of Cinema, alongside Kavan the Kid's Echo Hunter: A Memory Too Far and Paul Trillo's Etherea^[7][6].

Ninety-six million views, on someone else's post

On 20 September 2026, eighteen months after release, Elon Musk posted Aze's original video file on X with the words "This is the future we shall bring into being", and pinned it to his profile^[3]. By 31 October that post had passed 96.4 million views, with more than 330,000 likes^[3]. Those are the views of Musk's post, not of Aze's account; the YouTube upload, a separate count, stands at 2.01 million^[3][2].

Aze posted "Elon pinned Age of Beyond" the same day^[26]. Four days later he admitted he had almost deleted the film before posting it, until a friend talked him out of it, and the next day he shared his first X payout^[25][24].

Red Rainbow: Bluebird

By then Red Rainbow had become a series. Red Rainbow: Bluebird is a Phantom X Original, from the AI studio Kavan the Kid co-founded, and its one-minute trailer, made in invideo Agent One, arrived on 26 May 2026^[13][30]. Episode One, Pretty Makes You Perfect, followed on 25 June: eighteen minutes in which Rosie Blue learns that every encounter carries a cost, followed by a mysterious man, "dapper, elegant, and impossible to ignore"^[14].

He writes, directs and edits every episode, co-written with Nyukyung and Diana Markuta^[14]. From Episode Two, Invisible Guy, about the unseen Donnie, he moved to invideo Agent Two; Episode Two's credits list Mike J Mitch, Kavan the Kid and S.A.V of Phantom X among its associate producers^[15]. Episodes Three and Four followed Miracle Mo, "the most famous person on the planet", and both have passed 109,000 views; Episode Five, Snake Eyes, arrived on 28 October 2026^[16][17][18]. The series banner promises a new episode every month^[30].

Kavan named him on AI LIVE as one of the five creators behind Phantom X's original shows, and said he had "been doing Red Rainbow for forever" before it took a narrative form^[31]. AI LIVE has screened four pieces of Bluebird on the weekly show, where Chris Branch said of Donnie, "I like this character and I don't know why"^{[33][34][35][36]}. Aze had already been in the chat during Kavan's first Creator Session, the night before Episode Two came out^[32].

How he works now

His behind-the-scenes films for invideo show how the agents assist rather than replace him: one covers Episode One, and in the other he and Nyukyung walk through Episode Two^[19][20]. His advice for anyone building characters is to let the agent hold the series bible, so the writer can concentrate on story^[21]. Bluebird's credits also list original tracks under his own name, among them Blue Hour, A King and the Red Rainbow Theme^[16][15].

His website lists more than this page can confirm. It names METROPOLIS, a short based on Osamu Tezuka's manga, produced with John Gaeta and Kiri Hart, and a screening in the Mashup Film Festival's AI programme at Cineum Cannes in 2024^[4]. Neither has been checked against an independent source here, so they appear only as his own account.
